The Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Monday that the United States had agreed to release Iranian funds frozen abroad and pay reparations for the damage caused by the war, under a conflict-ending agreement.
“The unblocking of Iranian assets as well as reparations for the damages are two key points” of the agreement supposed to be signed on Friday, said the foreign ministry spokesperson Esmaïl Baghaï during his weekly press briefing: “the American side has committed to take action in these two areas.”
