The groundbreaking ceremony for the dormitory intended for female police trainees took place on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at the National Police School (ENP). This new building will have sixteen (16) rooms, with a capacity to accommodate up to 160 female police trainees. It aims to strengthen ENP’s infrastructure and enhance the accommodation capacity of the National Police of Haiti (PNH). The event was attended by the representative of the PNH Director General, Inspector General Jacques Joël Orival, the Resident Representative of the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), Xavier Michon, the European Union Ambassador, Hélène Roos, and the Canadian Ambassador to Haiti, André François Giroux.
