This election, supported by the Ministry of Planning and External Cooperation, reflects the confidence of the member states and marks an important step in strengthening Haiti’s diplomatic presence, according to the MAEC. It comes at the same time as the adoption of the Regional Action Plan for coordinating humanitarian assistance and development cooperation in Haiti, which will align with the national program for economic and social stabilization and recovery.
