Security: EU and OAS cooperation to support Haiti

During a meeting held on June 21, 2026, between the European Union (EU) and the Organization of American States (OAS), OAS Secretary General Albert Ramdin reaffirmed the international community’s commitment to supporting Haiti in its efforts to restore security. He stressed the need for the country’s future to be guided by Haitian leadership and the priorities of its people.
