Apache and Seahawk attack helicopters targeted “six Iranian boats that posed a threat to commercial navigation,” said Admiral Brad Cooper, head of the U.S. military command for the Middle East (Centcom).

U.S. forces also “effectively neutralized” all of the “missiles and drones fired against our forces and against commercial navigation,” he added.
