On the occasion of the celebration of the 102nd anniversary of the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), created in June 1924, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé praised the significant progress made in modernizing administrative procedures.

To mark the 102nd anniversary of the General Directorate of Taxes (DGI), established in June 1924, Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé praised the significant progress made in modernizing administrative procedures. Between October 2025 and May 2026, the DGI collected 58 billion gourdes, an increase of nearly 10% compared to the same period of the previous fiscal year, the government noted.
