Danley Jean-Jacques was grateful after the Haitian team entered the field against Scotland in the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
“Thank you for the opportunity to represent my country on the biggest stage. Thanks to everyone who stood by our side,” he said.
The midfielder also stressed the desire to bounce back: “The dream is still alive. We’re going back,” he wrote on Instagram after the match.
