According to the EU, the funds will be channeled through the Pan American Health Organization (PAHO) to support epidemiological monitoring, improve lab testing capacities, expand vaccine coverage, and optimize the management of identified cases. The interventions will mainly target the West, Southeast, Northeast, and Northwest departments, it adds.
