Haiti’s under-14 team won, unsurprisingly, the 2026 edition of the CFU U14 Challenge Series by Concacaf. To do so, the little Grenadiers thrashed Jamaica 4-0, 1-0 at halftime, this Sunday, August 23, at the Punta Cana Sports Complex in the Dominican Republic.
After a hard-fought first half, the little Grenadiers scored their only goal through Jodley Delmas and went into the locker room with a one-goal lead.
In the second half, the little Grenadiers, motivated and determined, tore through Jamaica’s defense by scoring three more goals. Wensley Dumorné scored twice, and Ronelson Pelé Janvier sealed the score: 4-0 for Haiti, who takes the trophy.In this tournament, the Haitian under-14 national football team lost only one match, and that was against Puerto Rico, 0-1. It’s worth noting that this match didn’t matter since Haiti had already qualified for the semifinals.
The victims of the little Grenadiers were French Guiana, beaten 5-2, and Trinidad and Tobago, 4-1, in the group stage. In the semifinals, they thrashed the Dominican Republic 6-1 before crushing Jamaica 4-0 in the final.

The trophy for the best player of the competition went to Jodley Delmas, and the top scorer award went to Wensley Dumorné, who scored 6 goals.
All in all, in the U14 category, Haiti is on top of Caribbean football.
