The Chief Commander of the National Police of Haiti (PNH), André Jonas Vladimir Paraison, is taking part in the 5th UN Chiefs of Police Summit (UNCOPS 2026) on July 7 and 8, 2026, focused on strengthening global peace and security. The Haitian delegation, led by the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Dr. Patrick Pélissier, also includes the Chief Commander of the Haitian Armed Forces, Lt. General Derby Guerrier, the Chief Inspector General of the PNH, Frédéric Leconte, and Inspector General Jacques Joël Orival. According to the PNH, this international meeting brings together top police officials from member states to discuss current security challenges and global police cooperation.
