Nine European countries, together with Ukraine, created a ‘purely defensive’ coalition on Monday in Paris to develop ‘ballistic defense capabilities’ in Europe, which Kiev is currently sorely lacking in the face of Russian air attacks.
Nine European countries, together with Ukraine, created on Monday in Paris a “purely defensive” coalition to develop “ballistic missile capabilities” in Europe, which Kiev is sorely lacking in the face of Russian aerial attacks.
“By pooling our defense industrial base, our research, and our operational experience, our goal is to build a shared capability against ballistic missiles for Europe (…). This action is not aimed at any people, but in defense of our own,” stress the leaders of Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom in a joint statement.
