Environment Minister Valéry Fils-Aimé will take part in Paris, from July 15 to 17, in the World Conference of the International Decade of Sciences for Sustainable Development (IDSSD), organized by UNESCO. Alongside international ministers and experts, he will speak at the high-level ministerial dialogue on ‘Science in the Service of Sustainable Development’ to share Haiti’s experience in climate resilience and environmental governance, according to a ministry note. This mission highlights the strengthened partnership between the ministry and UNESCO, particularly around the Eco-Engineering competition, the integration of environmental education into the school system, and climate adaptation projects funded by the Adaptation Fund, the note continues.
