CARICOM welcomes the publication of the electoral calendar by the CEP

The Group of Eminent Personalities (GEP) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) welcomed the publication of the election calendar by Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (CEP).

The Group of Eminent Persons (GEP) of the Caribbean Community (CARICOM) welcomed the publication of the election schedule by Haiti’s Provisional Electoral Council (CEP). In a statement, the GEP urged all stakeholders to fully engage in the electoral process and ensure that all requirements and procedures are followed to guarantee the credibility of the vote. According to the schedule published by the CEP, the first round of the presidential and legislative elections will be held on December 13, 2026.
