A meeting was held this Wednesday, August 5, 2026, on the electoral process, bringing together the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, Dr. Sandra Paulemon, the President of the CEP, Jacques Desrosiers, electoral advisors, the Head of BINUH, Carlos Ruiz Massieu, the UNDP Resident Representative, Xavier Michon, as well as representatives from UNOPS, the OAS, and other technical and financial partners.

A meeting was held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, about the electoral process, bringing together the Minister of Planning and External Cooperation, Dr. Sandra Paulemon, the CEP President, Jacques Desrosiers, electoral advisors, the Head of BINUH, Carlos Ruiz Massieu, the UNDP Resident Representative, Xavier Michon, as well as representatives from UNOPS, the OAS, and other technical and financial partners. During this meeting of the Steering Committee of the Electoral Process Support Project, the MPCE minister called for speeding up preparations to allow the country to fully enter into an electoral momentum. She also emphasized the need for national mobilization to ensure credible, peaceful, and inclusive elections.
