The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Worship (MAEC), Raina Forbin, urged OECD member states as well as countries in the region to increase their support for Haiti.

The Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship (MAEC), Raina Forbin, urged the member states of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) as well as countries in the region to increase their support for Haiti. This call was made on July 1, 2026, in Madrid, during the OECD ministerial dialogue on Latin America and the Caribbean. She called for a stronger partnership between the OECD, the Caribbean Community (CARICOM), regional development banks, and other partners, in order to better address common challenges related to security, investment, and regional integration.
