In Washington, D.C., Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé met on Monday, April 20, with the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin. The discussions focused on the security situation in Haiti, strategies to combat insecurity, strengthening institutions, and organizing the electoral process. The two officials also exchanged views on the modalities of deploying the Gang Suppression Force (FRG), with the aim of restoring public order and protecting the population.
