The government announced this Thursday that it has officially launched the reconstruction of the Haitian Consulate General in Miami.

The government announced this Thursday that it has officially launched the reconstruction of the Haitian Consulate General in Miami. The ceremony took place in the presence of Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé, Minister of Foreign Affairs and Worship Raina Forbin, Consul General Yverick Delerme Cyril, and numerous diplomatic, community, and religious personalities. This project, under the theme “Past. Present. Future.”, aims to modernize consular services and strengthen ties with a particularly dynamic Haitian diaspora in Florida. The future building will include spaces dedicated to services, culture, and official activities, symbolizing diplomacy that is closer to citizens and focused on efficiency.
