On the occasion of the Festival of Agriculture and Labor, COSAFH organized, in Vivy Mitchell, on Saturday, May 2, 2026, the second edition of its gastronomic fair ‘Couleur Culture’.
On this May afternoon, Gérald Bataille is bustling with people. Like the former Croix-des-Bossales, this place, colonized by retailers, is filled with all kinds of waste. We make our way, not without difficulty, along the dusty road leading to Vivy Mitchell, to reach the ‘All-in-One’ space. For the second consecutive time, this site is hosting the gastronomic fair ‘Couleur Culture,’ an annual culinary event initiated by Comédie sans frontières d’Haïti (COSAFH). At Vivy Mitchell, a pleasant environment welcomes us; the attractive greenery and the fresh air provided by the trees delight our lungs. On the site’s wall, we can read: ‘COSAFH Foire Gastronomique Couleur Culture.’ Photos show the different departments of Haiti. It is as if to remind the visitor that the country also includes regions teeming with agricultural products and wealth.In the courtyard, by the pool, there is a friendly and festive atmosphere. The Ti Rasta de Carrefour foot band sets the mood. Armed with their musical instruments, these sambas make the partygoers dance. While this musical group entertains, the exhibitors sell their products. For the event, DACH Création is exhibiting its beaded sandals. For the past two years, this company has been offering its handmade sandals.
