Through the National Pact for Stability and the Organization of Elections, the Prime Minister and his allies have expressed their desire to bring changes to the Constitution. To realize this desire, Alix Didier Fils-Aimé has already modified the mandate of the CEP and obtained the amendment of the electoral decree. However, no one yet knows what the nature of these changes to the Mother Law will be or who will be responsible for carrying them out.Since the 2016 elections, all the leaders who have succeeded each other at the head of the country, elected or not, have expressed their desire to change the Constitution. President Jovenel Moïse, Prime Minister Ariel Henry, the Transitional Presidential Council and now Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé. Each time, their project did not come to maturity.
