Prime Minister Alix Didier Fils-Aimé visited, this Monday, the future premises of the specialized judicial centers, whose inauguration is scheduled for this Wednesday. Accompanied by the Minister of Justice, Me Patrick Pélissier, and the Dean of the Court of First Instance, Bernard Saint-Vil, he reminded that these structures will be tasked with judging armed gang crimes, financial crimes, and electoral fraud, according to a note from the Prime Minister’s Office. The center specialized in financial crimes will work to prevent the electoral process from being used for money laundering of illicit assets, thus ensuring free and transparent elections.
