The Quatre Chemins association announces the 23rd edition of its festival. ‘Art is alive’ is the theme chosen for this edition.

It was on his Facebook page that the artistic director of the Quatre Chemins festival, Guy Régis Jr., announced the 23rd edition of the Quatre Chemins Festival. “We are thrilled to reveal the poster for the 23rd edition of the Quatre Chemins Festival, designed based on the work of Maksaens Denis, which will take place from November 23 to December 5, 2026, in Port-au-Prince,” said the playwright.

An invitation to explore and enjoy the vibrancy of art.

Created in 2003, the Quatre Chemins Theater Festival has since brought together all the artistic energies of Port-au-Prince in a true space of freedom and expression, with a particular focus on the artistic quality of the performances presented. “Art is alive,” the theme around which this year’s edition will revolve, isn’t that the true expression reflecting the resilience of art in the face of chaos and death? “Art is Alive… against death, an invitation to explore and appreciate the vitality of art in the face of any mortality,” he wrote.

The 23rd edition of the Quatre Chemins Festival is on the horizon. For this edition, the festival is giving carte blanche to the renowned dancer Kettly Noël. “Her talent and unique vision of art will enrich our program, making this event a memorable celebration of creativity and artistic expression,” emphasizes Guy Régis.A space for reflection and questioning

The Quatre Chemins Festival aims to be a space for reflection and questioning. Since its creation up to today, the festival has influenced the Haitian artistic scene by introducing the public to other forms of art. According to Guy Régis, this event has the particularity of bringing contemporary and innovative artistic forms into the Haitian cultural and artistic landscape. “Beyond the traditional, Quatre Chemins has introduced a different kind of theater in Haiti.”Four Paths or the emergence of new playwriting

The Four Paths Festival has also allowed the emergence of new playwriting voices in Haiti. This event significantly contributes to the development of playwriting, thus to the arrival of new playwrights in the country. The launch is scheduled for next November 23.
