Jefnie Toussaint officially took office as head of the National Education Fund (FNE) on Monday, August 17, 2026. Her appointment was approved by the Council of Ministers on August 11, replacing Elysée Colagène. Trained as an accountant with a specialization in finance and development economics, Jefnie Toussaint is also active in academia. Now at the helm of the FNE, her mission will include ensuring effective management of the institution’s resources and supporting the funding of initiatives in Haiti’s education sector.
