This project, which spans seven years, has been presented as a lever aimed at strengthening resilience to climatic and economic shocks. No fewer than 16 communal sections, repatriated to the communes of Jacmel (Montagne La Voûte, Lavaneau, La Montagne, Bas Cap-Rouge); Cayes-Jacmel (Ravine Normande, Gaillard, Haut Cap-Rouge); Marigot (Corail-Soult, Grande Rivière Fesles, Macary, Fond-Jean-Noël, Savane du Bois); and Belle-Anse (Baie d’Orange, Mabriole, Calumette, Corail Lamothe), make up the intervention area of the EFOSE project. This project should help increase and diversify household incomes as well as local production of nutritious foods, relying on approaches resilient to climate and economic shocks.
