Twenty years of creation, struggle, and stage

Founded in June 2006 at the Jean-Jacques Dessalines High School by a group of young theater enthusiasts, the Zoflanbo Company has established itself over the years as a space for artistic creation and stage experimentation. His first show at the Eldorado on the side of Place Jérémie (Carrefour-Feuilles) marks the starting point of a rich journey, made up of original creations and participation in several major cultural events in the country. The company notably presented works such as Rara by Félix Morisseau-Leroy at the Quatre Chemins Festival, as well as theatrical adaptations carried out in collaboration with the Maurice Sixto Foundation.

After the earthquake of January 12, 2010, Zoflanbo also invested in crisis areas, conducting awareness-raising activities in displaced persons camps and several zones of the metropolitan area of Port-au-Prince, in partnership with international organizations. These initiatives resulted in hundreds of performances with a social and community purpose.
