141,720 people were expelled to Haiti from January to June, reported the Support Group for Repatriates and Refugees (GARR)

141,720 people were deported to Haiti from January to June, according to the Support Group for Repatriates and Refugees (GARR). Among them, 140,018 came from the Dominican Republic and 1,702 from other countries in the region. GARR also reported having recorded several interceptions of Haitian migrant boats in the Caribbean Sea, including one last June with 240 people on board in the waters of the Turks and Caicos.
