The Ministry of Environment (MdE) organized a national workshop on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, to present the PRAIS report, which assesses Haiti’s commitments to combating desertification, as well as the results of the Integrated Sustainable Landscape and Land Management Project (PISLM). On this occasion, Minister Valéry Fils-Aimé handed out certificates to those who contributed to the report, while participants made recommendations to strengthen environmental monitoring, institutional coordination, and actions to restore degraded lands.
